HydrauliCAD is a Windows based AutoCAD program that performs Static and Extended Period Simulation of the hydraulics within pressurized pipe networks. A Hydraulic Network can consist of pipes, nodes (outlets & junctions), pumps, valves and storage tanks or reservoirs. Using the Math Engine EPANET, it tracks: It provides an integrated environment for editing network input data, running hydraulic simulations, and viewing the results.

The Calculation Engine, EPANET, was developed by the Water Supply and Water Resources Division (formerly the Drinking Water Research Division) of the US Environmental Protection Agency's National Risk Management Research Laboratory. AutoCAD 2004 - 2009 Civil 3D, Civil Series, Land Desktop, and Plain AutoCAD Ram: 1 or 1+ GB Minimum Suggested for XP Pro. 2 or 2+ GB for Vista and for larger drawings. Suggested Processor Speed: A relatively fast processor is always best to run AutoCAD, and especially so for HydrauliCAD drawings containing large number of pipes. |
